Hi! I'm Chané Marques, the Owner and Founder of The Zebra's Piano.

The Zebra's Piano was founded in 2013 and since our inception, our reputation spread by word of mouth referrals.

I graduated in Music through Unisa and followed my passion to teach students to play the piano. I live in Roodepoort, South Africa and proudly South African and I want to share the universal language of music to the world.

I believe that learning to play the piano is one of the greatest and most rewarding experiences a person can embark upon. Not only is a student learning music but they are learning self-discipline, hard work, interpretation, time management and so many other invaluable skills. It will not only bless the life of the student but the lives of countless others! It is simply wonderful.

I believe that children have an absorbent mind from a very early age and the benefits of music is amazing for them.
About the lessons:
I believe that music should be fun. There is never a dull moment in my class. In fact, having fun is a prerequisite! If nothing else, I want my students to enjoy playing the piano. I strongly believe that a balance of traditional teaching together with today’s free technology available for children is especially important. This technology allows for a blend of fun activities and consistent practice. A fun motivational program allows students to win prizes.
